Local nonprofits see a decline in donations as country still fears recession

A recent report by Giving USA shows donations fell nearly 3.5% in 2022, compared to years before. According to Tippie's Anne Villamil, a lot of people are thinking twice before donating money or food to nonprofits because of the unstable economy and fears of a looming recession.
